Our name may have changed but our reputation and quality haven’t!
Mr. C’s Photography was established in 1979 by Don Cianci. Starting off in a 1200 sq ft space without any employees, Don has grown this business to a 12,000 sq ft building with 5 full-time employees. As Don’s business grew, so did his accolades. Not only is he Cowlitz County’s only certified master photographer, he is internationally awarded and recognized and has been selected as a feature photographer at the Epcot Center.
Our dedicated staff of specialists are educated in their fields of professional photography and digital artistry, making us one of the most flexible, knowledgeable and diverse photography studios.
Through our dedication and commitment to our community, we have earned the title of Cowlitz County’s Best Photo Studio 7 years running. We regard each of our clients as the most important. We capture who they really are and then create a visually stunning masterpiece that will last generations.
C’s Photography balances what photography really is. Being the first local studio to go digital in 2000, we still maintain respect for photography and the industry by providing lifetime guaranteed professional products that families can still showcase on their walls.
The relationship that we have with our clients has and will last a lifetime. We are lucky enough to be in an industry that allows us to watch our community grow up and capture the stories that they will always remember. From maternity to newborn, to first day of school and sports photos, on to graduation, their wedding and finally their own newborn, we are truly thankful that you choose C’s Photography to be a part of your family.
Don Cianci – Owner, Master Photographer
Photography has been a family tradition for me. My father, Victor Cianci, started me in the dark room of his studio at age 10 and by the time I was 15, I had photographed my first wedding. I started this company in 1979 without any other employees and have since grown the business to employ 5 additional people. The most rewarding part of owning C’s Photography is handing our clients their professionally created portraits and knowing that piece of art, brought to life by the members of my team, will be appreciated for years to come.
Cassandra Dunckel – Production Artist
I originally became interested in photography because it was a way for me to express myself artistically. As my skills evolved, I found I was really fascinated with what could be done with a photograph after it had been taken. My favorite part of my job at C’s Photography is transforming an already beautiful photograph into a work of art that our clients can cherish for a lifetime. I am a vigilant perfectionist and am not satisfied until every client can take home a stunning portrait.
Jerry Ames – Photographer
For me, it’s all about capturing and highlighting a moment of someone’s life. Each moment can’t be brought back so I love being able to pause time in the form of a photograph. The journey of our clients’ portraits start with me in the session by bringing together the right mix of creativity and traditionalism. I really enjoy the process of customizing each session for each client blending my experience with their imagination. I make sure the lights and props are perfect at all times while keeping smiles on everyone’s faces.
Rebecca Ainslie – Children’s Photographer
Art is a big part of who I am – from painting to photography, I just love being creative. The best part of my job is watching the changes that occur during the first precious years of a child’s life. I also really enjoy the challenge of crafting a parent’s vision for their child’s session and am constantly researching new ideas for all of the kids that come through our studio. Whether it’s a newborn’s first photograph or a 1st birthday cake smash, I love creating something special and unique for all of my miniature clients.
Elizabeth McGarry – Sales Representative/Marketing Coordinator
I am one of the first people you might talk to when planning your portrait session. Before the portrait is on the wall, before the session takes place, everything starts with an idea and the best portraits come from the best ideas. I also guide our clients through the ordering process once their session is complete. However, the most interesting part of what I do here at C’s Photography is helping out with our marketing. It’s my responsibility to help design effective advertising and to make sure we are supplying the kinds of products that our clients want.
